DIVING INTO: HOW TO TAP INTO AN ABUNDANCE MINDSET ASAP.

Hi love,

This is the time of year when most people start looking at their lives through the harshest possible lens — what they didn’t do, what they didn’t accomplish, what still feels unfinished, and all the ways they believe they should be further along.

The pressure to become a “new you” in January can make December feel like a judgment zone instead of a celebration.

But before you get swept into the collective urgency of reinvention, I want to offer you a different approach — one rooted in a practice that has existed for thousands of years across Tibetan Buddhism, modern psychology, and identity-based manifestation work.

It’s called rejoicing — the art of celebrating your own goodness, growth, and effort.

Rejoicing isn’t just gratitude. It’s not a mental checklist or a “should” you repeat to yourself when things feel overwhelming.

It’s the intentional act of feeling your progress. Of honoring the parts of you that showed up, tried, stretched, healed, endured, and expanded — even when no one else saw it.

And here’s why this matters:

As your mind focuses on the “should’s”, lack or how far you still want to grow and go — you miss the fact that it’s because of the abundance you’ve already created for yourself that you can see that potential.

The desires, goals, and intentions that are calling you forward right now are a direct reflection of the work you’ve already done. You wouldn’t even feel them if you hadn’t expanded to this point.

When you practice rejoicing, you shift from lack to abundance — not through force, but through awareness. You start to see your life through the lens of possibility. Instead of focusing on what’s missing, you strengthen the neural pathways that allow you to feel supported, capable, and open.

Research shows that genuine gratitude — the kind you feel in your body, not just think in your mind — reduces stress hormones, increases emotional resilience, regulates the nervous system, and activates the prefrontal cortex, the part of your brain connected to creativity, problem-solving, and perspective.

In other words, rejoicing literally places you in the state where manifesting your next level becomes easier and more natural. (And exciting!! Filled with joy!)

But to access that, you need to shift away from the end-of-year self-criticism and into a space of recognition.

Start by letting yourself feel the truth of this: you’ve grown in ways that are impossible to measure through metrics or milestones. You’ve learned lessons that have quietly shaped how you move. You’ve navigated moments you once prayed to get through. You’ve expanded emotionally, mentally, spiritually — even on the days that felt stagnant.

Let yourself celebrate that.

Rejoicing doesn’t overlook the challenges you faced or the learnings that might still need to be embodied, it honors the strength it took to move through them to where you are now.

It allows you to close the year feeling whole and worthy of what you want for the new year rather than “behind,” which is exactly what creates the internal environment where new opportunities can land.

As you reflect, ask yourself: What moments from this year deserve to be felt, not just remembered?

Let them rise. Let them soften you. Let them remind you of who you’ve become.

Because when you celebrate the version of you standing here today, you naturally step into the version of you you’re becoming.

And that is the energy that opens every new door.

✏️ QUESTION FOR REFLECTION + GUIDING TIP: HOW TO TAP INTO AN ABUNDANCE MINDSET ASAP.

Question for Reflection:
What am I proud of — quietly, deeply, or unexpectedly — that I haven’t actually let myself feel yet?

Guiding Tip:
Before you set any goals for next year, pause and ask:
“What has this version of me already made possible?”
Start from abundance, not urgency. Let your next level unfold from there.

With love,
Dominique
