Let’s talk about
That sense of ugh, this is fine.
It’s fine, it’s not a big deal, I’m being dramatic, I can just deal with it.
Familiar enough. Safe enough. Not that bad.
Something in you knows it’s not aligned — but you stay anyway.
That, my love, is often the symptom of something deeper.
It’s the subtle sign that we might be settling.
Most of us don’t settle because we’re lazy.
We settle because we’re (subconsciously) afraid of what might happen if we don’t.
When you finally address the “meh” feeling, you might uncover that deeper fear you’ve been avoiding…
“What if I speak up and they leave?”
“What if I raise my prices and no one buys?”
“What if I go all in and it still doesn’t work?”
“What if I let go and nothing better shows up?”
So instead of risking those fears, we unconsciously choose patterns we know aren’t serving us — but feel familiar.
We stick with relationships that feel lukewarm.
We play small in our career because it’s “stable.”
We ignore our intuition to avoid rocking the boat.
We delay our next move because we don’t feel “ready enough.”
And yeah — it might leave us feeling a little meh every day.
But we tell ourselves it’s fine.
Because fear has convinced us that “fine” is safer than free.
But what if the fear… isn’t even real?
What if that mental loop that’s been holding you back is just a protective reflex — not the truth?
The beautiful thing is:
Patterns can be rewritten and fears can be outgrown — but only through aligned action.
When you lovingly call them out and start choosing differently, even in small ways, you begin to build evidence that the fear was never really true.
You set a boundary, and the world doesn’t fall apart.
You speak your truth, and a deeper connection forms.
You say yes to your vision and realize your joy didn’t need permission.
Over time, something clicks:
The mental noise softens.
Your decisions feel cleaner.
And you start spending less energy managing your fear — and more energy living your life.
So if you’ve been stuck in the “it’s fine” phase — take a breath. It doesn’t mean you’ve failed.
It just means your nervous system has been trying to protect you.
But you’re safe to want more. You’re allowed to act on it. And your life is ready to meet you in that desire.

Where in my life am I calling something “fine” — when my soul knows it’s not?
Guiding Tip:
Start noticing the moment fear shows up in the middle of your action. Not to stop yourself — but to gently ask:
“What story am I carrying here? And is it still true?”
You’re more capable than the fear makes you believe. And your freedom is often just on the other side of it.
