Message #17: Saying yes to your next level sometimes means grieving who you were
Hiya ,
Sometimes growth feels less like a leap forward and more like a quiet letting go.
We’re often so focused on what we’re creating next that we forget the part of the process that asks us to grieve. Not because something went wrong, but because there’s a version of you that no longer fits — and you’re starting to feel it.
When you step into a new standard, a new rhythm, or a new level of alignment, it’s not just about what you’re calling in. It’s also about what you're releasing. You might be letting go of identities you built to stay safe. Habits that helped you survive. Ways of being that were once necessary, but are no longer true.
It’s normal to feel emotional in the in-between. It’s normal to feel tender. That doesn’t mean you’re regressing. It means you’re human. And you're making space for something more honest to come through.
Let yourself honor what you’re shedding, even if no one else sees it.
Try this this week:
Write down one part of your identity or way of being you’re ready to release — and thank it for getting you here.
