Message #16: You don’t need more motivation — you need fewer distractions from yourself
Hiya ,
If you’ve been telling yourself you need to be more motivated, I want you to pause.
Most of the time, motivation isn’t the real issue. What we can often be experiencing is disconnection.
When there’s so much noise around you — input, comparison, overstimulation — that it becomes hard to hear your own voice.
You end up spinning in place, feeling like you “should” be doing more, when what you really need is to come back to yourself.
You don’t need to push yourself through criticism, you need to be present with yourself.
The clarity you’re looking for doesn’t live in another strategy. It lives in the stillness you’ve been avoiding. When you reconnect to your body, your breath, your values — the next step becomes obvious.
Try this this week:
Give yourself 10 minutes each day with no distractions — no phone, no to-do list, just you and your breath.
