Message #18: Aligned decisions don’t always feel safe — they feel true
Hiya ,
We’re taught to equate safety with alignment — to believe that the “right” decision will feel calm, obvious, and certain. But the truth is, sometimes the decisions that are most aligned won’t feel safe at all.
They might challenge what you’ve always believed about yourself. They might stretch your nervous system. They might require you to trust something you can’t fully explain yet.
Alignment isn’t about doing what’s familiar.
It’s about doing what’s honest. It’s about making decisions that are rooted in your values, even when they disrupt your comfort zone. And that can feel messy in the beginning.
If you’re feeling discomfort around something that feels intuitively right, give yourself some grace. You don’t have to feel completely ready to take an aligned step. You just need to be willing to listen to the part of you that knows it’s time.
You’re allowed to trust a decision even if it makes you nervous.
Try this this week:
Notice where you're overriding your truth to stay in your comfort zone — and take one small step that supports what you know deep down.
