Your Monday Message 💌
Message #45: Stop letting people humble you, and stop humbling yourself!
✨ UPCOMING: THE EXPANSION SERIES FOR VISIONARY WOMEN
Before we dive into today's Monday Message, I'm so excited to finally share something I've been excitedly creating and prepping for behind the scenes!
This August, I'm hosting The Expansion Series—a four-week transformational workshop series for ambitious women ready to step into their next level with greater confidence, clarity, and self-trust.
Together, we'll strengthen your self-worth, release limiting beliefs, reconnect with what you truly want, and learn how to create lasting transformation from the inside out.
We begin August 5th. If it feels aligned, I'd absolutely love to have you there 🤍
Can't join live? Every session will be recorded, and you'll receive the replay after each workshop.
Hi love,
If I could give one piece of advice for creating the kind of deep self-worth that transforms your relationships, career, confidence, and overall fulfillment, it would be this:
Don't let people humble you. And don't preemptively humble yourself.
So many of us have learned to downplay our strengths, dismiss our gifts, or soften the things we genuinely love about ourselves because we're afraid of coming across as arrogant.
But in reality, that habit is often a protection mechanism.
If I'm the first to criticize myself, maybe no one else can.
If I keep myself small, maybe I won't be judged.
So instead, you downplay your strengths.
You brush off compliments.
You make yourself a little smaller than you really are because you've confused self-celebration with ego.
But here's what I've found:
The people with the deepest sense of self-worth aren't the ones with the most achievements. They're the ones who deeply know themselves.
They know the qualities they bring into every room.
They know the characteristics that make them unique.
They know what they genuinely love experiencing about themselves.
And they know their worth and value even if no one is there to validate it.
Not because someone is giving them permission to believe it, but because they’re giving themselves permission to see it.
Contrary to popular belief, this doesn’t create egotism or arrogance.
It creates deep inner security.
And when you're deeply secure in who you are, you stop looking to achievements, relationships, or other people to tell you your value. You simply become someone whose life reflects the certainty you've already created within yourself.
I truly believe this is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself.
Because the moment you stop searching for evidence of your worth — you finally have the freedom to live and create from it.
💭 Question to reflect on this week:
What is one quality you genuinely love about yourself that you've been waiting for someone else to validate before fully owning?
