Your Monday Message đź’Ś
Message #8: Your fear isn’t a sign to stop — it’s a sign something new is waking up in you.
Hiya ,
Let’s normalize it: growth doesn’t always feel empowering at first. Sometimes it feels terrifying.
Not because you’re on the wrong path — but because you’re on a new one. (And your brain is literally wired to keep you in your comfort zone.)
Fear is a natural part of expansion. It’s your nervous system saying, “Hey, this isn’t familiar — are we safe here?”
✨But new doesn’t mean dangerous. It just means unfamiliar.
So no, you don’t have to shut it down. You don’t have to bulldoze through it either.
You just have to learn how to stay present with it — without letting it take the wheel.
Fear doesn’t mean stop. Fear means tend to your body while you move forward.
So if you’ve been feeling the fear, resistance or discomfort of an emotion being avoided — get clear on what within you is needing that love and attention.
It’s likely a part of you that needs to be reminded its safe, lovable, accepted and connected to those around them in this new chapter 🤍 And reminding ourselves of that usually does just the trick!
Try this this week:
When fear shows up, pause and name it: “This is fear. That’s okay.”
Place one hand on your chest and breathe slowly for 60 seconds.
Allow yourself to fully feel the fear as a sensation, get curious about what fear feels like in your body without trusting the narratives that come with it.
Do a fear inventory: Write down every fear that feels like it’s hiding in the back of your subconscious mind so you can take a good ol’ look at it. Ask yourself - is this 100% true or valid without a shadow of a doubt? If not, what’s the more likely option? Call out your fear like it was a friend who always exaggerates their stories for attention.
Ask: “What’s one safe, small next step I can take with this fear today?”
